We’re also are more than happy to adapt your favourite meal, childhood memories, or travel experiences into a barbecue banquet to remember. Plus, we offer canapes and dessert along with the main meal. And we can provide pre or post wedding lunches and dinners.

We use the best of Scottish produce cooked over local wood and Scottish charcoal. If you are looking for something extra special we can source rare breed and Pasture for Life produce on request.

FAQs

  • Our weddings cost in the region of £40-70pp + VAT for the food element depending on guest numbers, final menu and venue location. Staffing costs are in addition to this.

    Prices exclude the hire of any cutlery/crockery/tableware/glassware/tables etc. Some venues have no or limited kitchen equipment and some basic equipment may need to be hired in.

  • The requirement to hire in cutlery and crockery as well as tables/tableware and kitchen equipment etc is often venue dependant.

    All of our cooking is done on the barbecue however we usually require a small amount of kitchen equipment to allow for preparation and safe storage (hot and cold) of the food during the day. Depending on what is provided by the venue, some/all of this may need to be hired in by you or your event planner.

    If you are pulling everything together yourselves, there are a number of catering hire companies who you can deal with directly (with our input as required) who can provide everything you need.

    However you chose to arrange this, we will work with you to ensure that you have everything needed for the day.

  • If you are hiring in cutlery/crockery etc we would request you to arrange for a ‘dirty hire’ whereby items are returned to the hire company for washing at their premises.

  • We can provide staff to handle the food service (including canapes and evening food if required. We charge an hourly rate for hours worked (and travel expenses) for our staff. Staffing numbers are dependant on service style and guest numbers.

  • We usually recommend a serviced buffet as this best suits our menus however we are happy to discuss other options such as family style or plated.
